Spherical plain bearing series E steel on steel, DIN ISO 12240-1, treated with molybdenum disulphide mos2, regreasable. For use with high multidirectional loads.
GE…ES-2RS is a radial spherical plain bearing featuring a steel-on-steel sliding contact surface and seals on both sides. Compared with the GE…ES series, the GE…ES-2RS series is equipped with two additional seals that help prevent dust and other contaminants from entering the sliding contact area.
The inner and outer rings are made of carbon chromium steel, hardened and phosphated. The sliding surfaces are treated with molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂) to support sliding performance and wear resistance.
Double-sided seals: Two seals help keep dust and contaminants away from the sliding contact surfaces.
Steel-on-steel sliding contact: Designed to support radial loads and oscillating movements.
Hardened and phosphated rings: Provide the specified surface treatment for the inner and outer rings.
MoS₂-treated sliding surfaces: Help improve sliding properties and wear resistance.
Wide size range: Available with bore diameters from 15 mm to 300 mm.
The main difference is the sealing design. GE…ES-2RS has seals on both sides, while GE…ES does not have these seals. The additional seals in the GE…ES-2RS design help protect the bearing against dust and external contamination.
GE…ES-2RS bearings have a permissible operating temperature range of −30°C to +130°C.
GE…ES-2RS spherical plain bearings are suitable for mechanical systems requiring radial load support and oscillating movement, particularly where protection against dust and external contaminants is important. Actual suitability depends on the operating conditions, load requirements and installation environment.
